Today, we started out our day with a long drive up to a tower just outside of Frankfurt for a picnic lunch (packed by our host families). We enjoyed our lunch in the cool shade and played on the zip line and swings. We continued our day with a new adventure going down the toboggan. We would compare it to a luge while siting down. It was a lot of fun and only one of us managed to get injured, the old man. Afterwards, we got back to the car and drove into Kronberg, a small village, we walked around, took lots of pictures, and dined at GrĂ¼ne Ganz. We tried traditional German food called Flamkuchen. We ended our day with a devotional on Isaiah 61:1 and John 3:16-17, in a beautiful park.
Karina and I have noticed in the 2 days that God's world is huge and everyone we have seen whether it be in the airport, little villages, or big city are all His and he cares for each one of our needs no matter how small they are. We know this is just the beginning of this awesome journey God has planned for this team!
